Sydney is a melting pot of diverse culinary experiences from around the world. Thai food is very common too, and it is easy to discover delicious dishes around the city. One of the best Thai food places is Chat Thai. I visited its outlet at the food court in The Galeries, which is a shopping centre on George Street. This Chat Thai outlet is very popular, and the kitchen is busy at lunchtime with mouth-watering orders of flat noodles, fried rice, sticky rice and mango, and more.
The dish that I ordered from Chat Thai was their grilled chicken and rice dish, known as the gai yaang + rice (item number 41 on the menu). The lemongrass and tumeric flavours from the grilled chicken were deliciously matched with the tangy tamarind sauce. The fresh salad was refreshing and pleasant.
The best part about this place is that the chefs do not hold back the flavours, and they don’t comprimise on quality either. It was a truly enjoyable experience.
